White Vinyl Car Coat with Red Lining and Red Vinyl Gloves from Winter Holiday | Incomplete Vtg. Original Barbie Doll Outfit | #975 | 1959-1960
As is customary, the black and white Barbie T.M. by Mattel label is stitched into only one piece of the outfit, but it is not in this coat.
The Mattel booklet describes this item as a "swaggering car coat of 'leather'...." Missing car coat belt, tee shirt hoodie, ankle pants, plaid bag, and shoes. I've included 2 vinyl gloves which may be part of the original outfit even though the Mattel booklet mentions knit mittens.
Condition: Good original vintage condition. I am the original owner (unless noted) who played with these items in 1958-1963. Barbie’s fashion clothes have been in storage since the 1960s. After researching various sources, I elected not to wash or dry clean the clothing so that buyers have the option of doing so. Collectors have specific restoration preferences and I do not want to disappoint anyone. Descriptions provide information and photographs are displayed of any damage such as staining or tears, if any. I will answer questions to the best of my knowledge & ability.
