Antique Thorens Swiss Movement Wind-up Music Box Plays "Torna a Surriento" ("Come Back to Sorriento") | Inlaid Wooden Cantilevered Cigarette Box with Decorative Bronze Top

Beautifully made open item measures 15cm high, 19cm long, and 10cm wide | 6.5 in. H, and 4 in W.
Base dimensions are 1cm or 3/4 in. high with wooden base and metal feet.
Each tier holds 6 no-filter cigarettes. Each holder is 6cm or 2.5" in tall and might hold other items for decoration, if preferred.
A wooden well covering the music box housed matches and has a match strike at one end.
Cigarette box closed dimensions: 15cm x 10cm x sloping from 7cm to 5.5cm,
or 7.5 in. x 6" wide x 2.5 in. sloping to 21/8 in.

The box lid features two metal plates: one to frame a second beautifully detailed plaque with lovely patina. The image depicts St. Peter's Square, Vatican City (Rome) with the front of St. Peter's Basilica, the Tuscan colonnades, Bernini's granite fountain, an ancient Egyptian obelisk, and the Papal Palace.
"M.E." initials in the lower right corner may be the artist's initials.
"RIP VIETATA" in the lower left corner may be an abbreviation for "riproduzione vitiate" translated as prohibiting copying (copyright) or "all rights reserved."

Condition:
+In original condition
-Missing one rounded foot out of four (screw in place to add a foot)
-The top front-piece seems to be missing a round piece, probably a metal ashtray attached by nail or screw.
-Some chips in the inlay on the box's edges
-Wind up worked but was stiff and seems stuck now.
-Thorens movement played when wind up worked
+Hinges work well

After a gathering in the 1950s, ashtray contents filled the silent butler and were transferred to the trashcan. Crumbs can also be whisked into the silent butler between meal courses at the formal dinner table. I see the youngest diners jumping for the chance to whisk crumbs into the silent butler after meals.
